Get knitting for a cause this Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is known as a transitionary month where the days get shorter and the leaves start falling, coloring our streets all shades of red, orange and yellow. It also happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we at Glow want to do our part to create a conversation about a very serious condition that affects tens upon thousands of women in the UK.

If you're looking to start a craft project for a cause this autumn, we've found some great knitting patterns that you can try out. All you need is some yarn and a pair of knitting needles and you're ready to go!

1. Pink Ribbon Hat by Carissa Knits

2. Ribbon Scarf by Anniken Allis

3. Chemo Hat by Kelly Petkun

4. Cancer Comfort Cap by Universal Yarn

5. Breast Cancer Awareness Scarf by Heather McVickar
